2019 Be The Hope Basketball Tournament Rules

Rules

  1. 20 minute games (10 minute halves) running clock
  2. 1 timeout per team (30 seconds)
  3. No overtime or ties (half court shootout, first team to make one in 2 minutes wins)
    1. If still tied after 2 minutes of half court shots, move to three pointers
    2. If first team makes it the second team must make their next shot
    3. Rock, Paper, Scissors determines which team goes first
  4. No dunking (immediate ejection)
  5. 5 personal fouls per person
  6. Two minute halftime
  7. 7 team fouls before bonus
  8. All normal basketball rules apply
  9. Rock, paper, scissors, shoot determines who wears jerseys or not
  10. Double elimination
